Participation
Depending on your needs, you can schedule a meeting with one of CAST Logistics’ advisors. During the meeting, you will receive an explanation of how the logistics arrangements work, and a scan of your company’s logistics operations can be conducted. This scan aims to identify the optimal use of transport arrangements. Based on this, a rough estimate of the potential discount can be determined. Additionally, the scan may provide insights into possible logistics cost savings, independent of discount rates. Experience has shown that discussing participation and reviewing specific logistics issues is often beneficial—logistics is always a tailored solution.
Often, the discussion will reveal that the company wishes to engage with one or more of the logistics service providers from the logistics arrangement, for example, to receive an exact price quote. In such cases, CAST Logistics will contact the relevant carrier’s account manager on your behalf. Each partner carrier has designated account managers and a helpdesk specifically assigned to the transport arrangements. In some cases, where logistics needs are not complex (such as Express shipments), direct contact with CAST Logistics via email or phone may be sufficient to arrange a meeting with a carrier’s account manager.
Regular evaluation meetings take place between CAST Logistics and the carriers. CAST Logistics is also responsible for closely monitoring the quality of the carriers’ services. When selecting new carriers, CAST Logistics applies strict admission requirements.
With the continuous expansion of arrangements and increasing purchasing power, better rates are consistently secured. It is therefore beneficial to stay informed about the latest developments. We recommend scheduling at least one meeting per year with CAST Logistics.
